monkeyhanger Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 Can anyone advise me where I can buy a 1/2 inch BSP banjo fitting please. Somewhere in East London would be perfect!
BEngo Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 (edited) Do you want the bolt, the banjo or both? If you need the banjo what is the inlet size? Since this is in the Lister threads, have you talked to Sue at MES Midlands? They have loadsa Lister spares. Merlin motor sport have both the bolt and the steel banjo, according to a quick Google. monkeyhanger Posted October 3, 2024 Author Report Posted October 3, 2024 I need just the banjo fitting. It's for a fuel line from my duplex filter to the injector pump. I've got a slight weep which I can't cure. I'll try MES. Thanks.

Have you tried with Dowty sealing washers, provided there is no damage and burs on the mating faces? It was the only thing that cured the leak on my Bosch injector pump. If the fitting itself isn't cracked, then it's the washers either side if the banjo that need replacing* or the whatever seals the connection between the banjo and the fuel line. * If you have plain copper washers either side of the banjo you could try annealing them by heating up to a dull red then allowing them to cool naturally.

FWIW, I tried annealing the existing washers and fitting new ones and neither worked - I have no idea why. The Dowtys cured it.
