Yep the South Oxford is alive with them. I caught some last year. The amount of meat on them isn’t really worth the effort, quite tasty though. 
 

Also caught my first Zander at Cropredy. 
 

The South Oxford is a hotspot for invasive species!

We caught them on the Thames near Rainbow bridge by Bossoms at the beginning of the lock cut there. 

I do not eat shellfish but my mum made a curry and enjoyed it.
