Evening,

Currently heading to midlands and then onto Worcester area for a few months from our Northern base.

We are looking for somewhere to leave boat from November to April,so we don’t have to retrace steps.

Looking for marina, happy for boat to be stored on land, or any safe linear place.
We won’t be onboard, just visit occasionally to check over.

Any suggestions?

Cheers as always

If the Shropshire Union near Market Drayton would suit then the farm moorings at Brownhills Farm could be an option. No facilities but a decent offside linear mooring. It's where we keep our boat, when we actually make it back there!

There's a vacant mooring at the farm where I moor on the lower Macc. Not sure how that would work if you already have a mooring as we pay EOG as well as to the farm. Presumably you'd have to declare a new mooring for the period.

Thanks Arthur, will be passing through Congleton next week and will have a look. Ideally thinking about somewhere further south but always good to have options👍

We are the farm just south of Congleton, at bridge 80.

Lovely location Arthur, some of the pontoons look a bit dicey though!

Would’ve very happily left the boat there, but after 5 years on the Macc and Peak Forest we’re looking for a base further south. Cheers as always
