The Warwickshire Ring interactive map is now live

The Warwickshire Ring is a popular Canal and River ring that takes in the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, Coventry Canal, Oxford Canal and the Grand Union Canal.

It takes about 2 weeks, dependant on your pace, and you travel 104 miles and go through 121 locks.

Oddly the one time we did that ring we got stuck for about three hours at the first lock (Garrison?) after Bordesley Junction with a gate that wouldn't close, ended the day at something past 10 on a lock landing at Minworth, not recommended.

 

Highlight of the day was some young roadmen trying to sell us their mix cd coming down Camp Hill. We declined.
