You and Clacton are welcome to the nasty little shite.

It's an election, not a pantomime.

I was asked only the other day, if I could be stuck in a lift with a famous person from any decade, dead or alive, who would it be, I said Nigel Farage, Dead.

Actually, very very rarely indeed, but it was still necessary to have your wits about you. And no, not fit ups, just nasty devious scroats.

And the 'righty' one's seem to have lost Trumps criminal case for him. Who would you prefer, a 'lefty' winner? or a 'righty' loser?;)

Oh I would want the most slippery devious lawyer possible, and ruthlessly competent.

You’re not a very nice fellow are you. What happened to wanting to give everyone a hug.

Farage definitely attracts those that are excitedly polishing their jackboots.

They're in for a big disappointment, us Brits have fought extremists before and we'll do it again. They can hide their bigotry and hatred behind our flag but they won't win.

As for woke - "originally meaning alertness to racial prejudice and discrimination. Beginning in the 2010s, it came to encompass a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights."

I'm proud to say I'm woke and embrace it and the fact our amazing country continues on this progressive journey of acceptance.

Do we want to go back to the world where Alan Turing was persecuted and reviled because of his homosexuality, regardless of the lives he saved? Woke is refusing to accept that and fighting against it.

I'm woke and proud of it.

Now will the anti woke brigade be honest and say "I'm bigoted and I'm proud of it"?

Curious here, what are you referring to when you mention extremists, bigotry and hatred?

Anyone voting for FarAge is thick.

He pretends to be a man of the people

Rather him, than fascists like you, who want, by the use of the EU, to curb freedom of speech. Of course you have fascist tendencies.

You can't handle criticism or freedom of speech, either.

^^ The HAD has a new definition of fascist now.

Arguing a point isn't an inability to handle freedom of speech. It's debating in an adult fashion, instead of name-calling.

You and Phil both fall back onto personal insults when you have no factual point to make.

You're the only one who's voted to restrict freedom of speech.

Don’t you normally insult me in every post where you refer to me, except this one, which given the subject would have been rather ironic. So if you don’t mind, that is a little rich coming from you.

I seem to remember you revelling in the sobriquet.

I think revelling is a bit of a stretch, more likely I stated I had broad shoulders, and it wasn’t going to cause me to lose sleep, it doesn’t. But an insult is an insult, irrespective of how it is received, and you use it frequently, along with your sheep like followers who also latch on to it, and then you have the brass neck to accuse me of resorting to personal insults.

Oooh deary me, I seem to have touched a nerve. I wonder if it was the philistine element or the other one.

You do like to read too much into things don’t you. You most certainly have not touched a nerve, nor would a soft leftist ever be likely to. I was just pointing out your rank hypocrisy, a trait which is very common in leftists. Carry on with your ‘insults’ as much as you like.

Describing ph the ph as ph the ph merely seems accurate to me. Its disrespectful to philistines though.

OK, I'll stop calling him a philistine.

But this is a thread about Nigel Farage's ability to capture a room?
