I do wonder how our wildlife will be affected. On the Northampton Arm there are proposals to build a bridge so that proposed warehouse can be reached. They did their studies and claimed that wild life will not be affected. We knew this was total rollocks as we have regularly seen otters in that same area. This was denied until locals produced video to show that otters were there and complete with family members.

Too often we see strategic decisions made and realistic objections rejected. Bodies with an eye to profit from development have lied and deceived us in the past and will continue to do so. Wildlife won't be affected they say having manipulated the surveys for their own purposes.

Well done IWA but I do fear a losing battle is being fought and that the disruption to a busy waterway will be greater than imagined.
