Pump toothed belts for Jabsco 36950 Par pump.

I need new pump belts for Jabsco Par 36000 / 36950 water pumps.

My spares list says 30022-0000 but the original belt is 35223-0000.  Which is correct?

There is another number on the belt, 1146  20.

The 30022 are a fantastic price from Xylem Jabscoshop and I can't find another supplier.

55 teeth, 280mm length, 9mm wide but it will take a slightly wider belt.

Any one able to help please?

Great thanks for that rusty, 2 have no stock.  Crazy price for a standard engineering item.

It seems that the number has been superseded.

I have tried the usual bearing and belt suppliers without success.

Not quite sure of the exact belt tooth form and description, but have you had a look at the HPC gears C23 catalogue?.    Lots of toothed belts there.  I assume that what you want will have one of the standard tooth pitches and profiles.     280  divides by 55 to give a very nearly  5mm tooth pitch, which is a standard pitch.

HPC offer the BT5/275, which has  a *pitch* length of 275, (which will be near an outside length of 280,) and 55 teeth,  various widths available,  inc 10mm.

Or  the reduced backlash timing belt.  AT5/280.  56 teeth on that one and available 10mm wide.

It does, especially as they are about $10 across the pond.

£9 plus £11 odd postage etc.  £25.39 on ebay from the USA. Hopefully no duty or daft handling charges on top.

There must be a UK source at a sensible price. I don't believe that is specially made for just this pump.

How about summit like this:

or a dyson drive belt?

Brilliant, thank you very much. Ordered, job done £3 and a bit each, sensible.

Dyson belts are a bit stretchy, different construction.

There are geniuses on this forum.

Well, I dunno if its job done tbh. It will be incredible if the profile does line up, but probably worth a punt for 3 quid.

Good luck

Did it fit then, or was it 3 quid wasted?

Well, ordered Friday 19th May on 24 hour delivery.  Not arrived by 24th.  they were coming from France by UPS.

Told RS. They shipped some more from Germany. Arrived 25th.

Yes they fitted perfectly, right size and profile. Upgraded all my PAR pumps and have spares for the future.

Then I get a demand for payment by email, I had already paid on order!

Someone at RS has lost the plot.
