Out of action after being damaged yesterday. It affects the T&M on the way to Burton and Shardlow. Probably won’t be fixed until Tuesday according to the CRT staff at Fradley yesterday.

Just a note, there is a grp travelling to Fradley junction, will be there or past there by now, has a load of crap on top, they are steering by looking out of the side cockpit. Two young men, leaving lock doors open, and a paddle up. Lost a load of water at Alrewas pound, which I have refilled after being grounded. Will probably cause more havoc as they continue, boat is listing to one side. Apparently they have an adjustible spanner to work the paddles. Be aware.

Came across them at Common lock. They had the boat only a couple of days and were pretty clueless. Gave them a few lessons on canal etiquette at locks for which they were grateful and also passed onto them a spare windlass we had.
