Disgraceful how the water companies are allowed to continue pumping raw shit into our rivers and seas since the Tories voted to allow it last year. Paying dividends to their shareholders rather than invest in new treatment plants ends up with our favourite river turning into a cess pit.

I hope you reported this incident to the EA, assuming they are responsible bodies.

Was it a weekend? ICI used to do a lot of burning of stuff at Ardeer, it was always on a weekend. Huge plumes of smoke sometimes.
