Left moored on a lock landing by the looks of things, probably an irate boater dun it.

I think, if I remember right, there’re mooring bollards outside the pub?The Dover Lock.

Once moored along there with Dmr.
Looks like it’s gone down hill with the pub shut and burnt out.

Thats very sad as that was always seen as the first good safe overnight spot when heading up from Manchester.

Dover lock is not a lock, the bollards are a sort of visitor mooring, so can't blame the boater. (It was a lock a long long time ago).

It was a terrible pub, I half remember that me and Goliath gave up and returned to drink on the boat, but still it was much better as a pub rather than a derelict building attracting the bad'uns.

Thete is, or was, a small community of CM'ers in that area.

Not somewhere I would leave a boat

Dover Lock was a lock, but through subsidence the lock (s) were moved elsewhere. But as seen it retains the narrows of the lock and the name. I have moored there as well and visited the pub.

Is there any name or identity for this craft?
