Welcome!

Does your boat have a hearth and flue collar in the roof from a previous stove installation, or will this be the first time a stove is installed? There are important safety things you need to be aware of either way. Hearth materials, insulation, air gaps, distances to combustable materials etc. A good summary of best practice is here. The only bit I and some others find contentious is the use of double skinned flue pipes. Single skin is fine. Other than that, follow that guide.

Read the guide.  Do lots of research until you have sufficient knowledge to ignore the guide. Then do a safe and sensible install.  If you follow the guide then always wear full fireman's gear and have a fire engine standing by when using the stove, for full safety.

There are occasionally second hand multi stoves sold on eBay etc, but it's hard enough to get a decent model without inheriting a random unbranded stove you could be lucky, or not.

Ideally a multi fuel stove will be fuelled with smokeless fuel and seasoned or dried wood at 20% moisture content.

I know it's nice to think about saving the planet, however unless you have your own little woodland and can stack wood in sheds for two years before use,  it is likely you will buy kiln dried logs , often imported. The smoke particulates are harmful :(

Smokeless fuel is used for economy and practicality, it pollutes at all stages of course. :(

Many of the stoves are made in China! ;)

There's a Jotul on eBay, rather handsome affair.
