magnetman
Swiftly slice the stern line with ones sword cane before returning the blade to the walking stick and hobbling off down the towing path like an old codger. Silent Flight
Little update on the work… Glad I have started stripping out the bedroom as it’s apparent there was damp behind some layers of panels and insulation, it is more than a bit of condensation. Really bad for your health with black spores and white mould everywhere. Previous couple had been sleeping right next to this! Believe it’s coming from the thread from a tunnel light… Possibly from where a tv aerial was mounted too. Might make out the square recessed light in the pic. Also there was defo a bow thruster and also think a bilge pump behind there which has been disconnected and just left, have started to sort that out. Any damp or rotten wood has started to come out and I’m leaving it to dry out with a dehumidifier. Will let it dry out as much as possible while tackling the source from outside. And should help find any new wet patches. Anyone with any similar experience of damp and mould? Had few guys come look at it from the workshop. They all think it’s leaking as mentioned above, not from the hull. As it was so buried it wouldn’t been picked up in a survey they say. And have given few pointers on the refit. Would like to (gingerly) hear your thoughts!

Silent Flight
Water water everywhere… And not a drop to drink Cleaned the water tank out holds an astonishing 1000L. Forgot to take picture of stuff put in to clean but basically chlorine. Flushed the tank couple times after. Then fitted a filter tap and ‘Aqua Filter’
Stilllearning
Our one before last boat had about 1000 litre water tank, and we were always glad it was there. An extra tonne of ballast, and autonomy for at least a month. We never bothered with filters or bleach though.
