Coal cage

And I've found that if I want to go from a full fire down to the coal cage, it's easy enough, with an oven glove and coal tongs, to put the cage back in and put the hot / burning coals into the cage. We don't run the back cabin stove 24/7 so this way is ideal to burn off the remaining coals with good heat without, as has been mentioned earlier, leaving unburnt fuel round the edges of a full fire. I like my cage, and for me, was worth the money.
