You could always put a second - hand Smartgauge or Rolex on eBay to try to raise the difference.

I tried that already, my auction for the Smartgauge that reads wrong only had one bid, of 1p.

 

And they failed pay, not that I blame them....

I had a chat to the seller of these at the Great Dorset Steam Fair earlier this year (not about these, about another "thing" I was really sorely tempted to buy but then realised I have a massive boat project). 

 

Anyway, he was a genuinely nice chap, very knowledgeable and I bet he'd take an offer
