Woodburning flue clarification

It seems pretty ridiculous, to me, to be sending in half of your produced heat up the flue and out of the chimney, when it could be radiant heat inside the boat.

Having a twin wall fkue means you need to burn a lot more fuel to get the same heating inside the boat.

I think it's because they want the stove to draw better...

Put a longer chimney on it, or get one of those 'wirlygigs' that spin round on top of the chimney and produce a 'draw'.
