Tamworth boat club. Never got a wave and smile even though I have slowed down for them

Yes, simple. 
 

But who’s nicked the sign?

I always thought it a gentler approach rather than a big warning ⚠️ and shouty statements.

It disappeared sometime during lockdown. It was there on our last cruise in 2019 and had disappeared when we first went that way in May 2920.

 

Such a pity as it always brought a smile to my face and was more effective than other warning signs (probably because the text was quite small so you had to slow right down in order to read it).
