Diesel powered Aga / Rangemaster?

My neighbour says his range is diesel powered. I've been looking at Aga, rangemaster and others but I cannot find any clear info on diesel versions. Only heating oil, I'm guessing this is not the same thing? I would quite like to install one on the new Widebeam and would like to hear any recommendations.

As I'm sure your neighbour will tell you - you may well need to have an alternative method for cooking in the summer.

Any of these cookers needs 230V ac, so you need an inverter on all the time with sufficient batteries (and means of recharging).
