Interestingly the pic on canalplan is labelled as being taken by 'canaldrifter' who used to post on here many moons ago. (A right grmpy old so and so if ever there was one).

 

But he used to often get up the lesser used parts of the system with his boat eg the Pocklington and the Derwent.

I was pretty sure it wasnt the Pocklington as it was far too 'river' like. It didnt look like the Derwent either and I didnt consider the Hull.

 

But should have done given the 'Humber keels' moored on the bank.

Found by a quick scan along the local waterways on Google Maps satellite view looking for a large number of moored boats on a bend.
