Heartland
It is on the BCN and yes there is a canal on the left Clues (1) named after a coal master whose brother was a canal carrier (2) It passed close to a water powered slitting mill and later forge (3) The view is looking down the towpath by the brickwork (4) The road on the right crossed a railway on the level (5) In common with other parts of the BCN the waterway served ironworks, collieries, brickworks, a timber yard and a flour mill

beerbeerbeerbeerbeer
Wild wild guess and I know I’m wrong but to get the ball rolling: Where the Tame Valley meets the Rushall? I should know the junction but can’t remember. Edited May 25, 2022 by Goliath

Heartland
Well Done Buccaneer It is the junction of the Danks Branch with the Walsall Canal, much of the rest seems to have been lost

Heartland
Yes Captain Ahab provides useful information about the lost aspects of the BCN. Parts of the Danks Branch seem to have been covered by a road now DANKS WAY which presentley provides access to one of the Midland Metro construction depots where COLAS RAIL trucks are based making the bed for the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Extension
