Is cruising rivers and navigations also applicable?

I think any inland waterway is relevant to this forum but that is not the what the OP is asking.

Please elaborate .

I read that as a 'snotty' suggestion to go and post on "River world forum"

There might be a SEA world forum too Alan.

No, not 'snotty', just genuinely interested in how many people here have been out on the cut recently.

Perhaps Martin would like to start a poll on campers?

Why would I do that?

You do realise dont you that there are long sections of the UK canals that you cannot transit without going on a river?

We will be doing a river section tomorrow as it is the only way to continue on the T&M.

Just realised that after all these years this forum should have been called 'INLANDWATERWAYSANDMARTINWORLD.NET'

I dont think it would catch on old fellow....

But If I was to suggest a re brand I would ensure it encompassed all the UK waterways given how many waterways people here boat on.

Edit, actually I would broaden it to include foreign waterways too, given the number of interesting posts we get about waterways outside the UK.

Does the Middle Level count as a canal? Most of it is a man made waterway system.

I've never 'done' the Middle Level navigations. Are they worth doing? I always had the impression they might be a bit boring over a flat landscape.

The Suez counts as a canal apparently, so why not?
