This beauty  of a copper kettle is for those of you who like expensive tea at £295 from Richmond.

Richmond Heritage - No 1

Called a Simplex kettle. Quite a few on eBay at reasonable price just make sure the inside is in decent nick. I love mine and it whistles well. I don’t have the quick boil coils under mine but have used one with them.

Those French do make a nice looking kettle , I may get one as my kettle is wearing out.

Traditional Kettle

That's the very Le Creuset one we have (and I referred to earlier) - it's just made the tea, bless it. Just found they're around sixty quid on-line though, so the TK Maxx deal we bought it on was a good 'un. Ours is black, and still as good as new after, I'd guess, about 5 years.  So, even if you do have to shell out somewhere other than TK's, you'll be enjoying it's jolly chirping long after you've stopped crying about the price! :D
