Rowing home with Jordan North - Comic Relief

DHutch

Featured Posts

Jordan North of BBC Radio1 has spent the week 'rowing home' covering 100miles of canals from London to his home town of Burnley.

As of this month, he has 10miles left to complete, and has raised over £400,000 for Comic Relief.

Having been listening in the car on the way in and out of work all week, by Wednesday it had clearly really taken its told, weather has been wet basically all week, and he has really dug deep to carry on while his hands, harms, legs, bum and likely everything else had taken an absolute hammering.

Fair play. Great challenge and good promotion for our canals.

Good photo.

Had specially short oars for the canal, but still had to tuck them in for each bridge. With the required balance that requires.

Don't know the exact route taken. Presumably they did what they could to pick good sections. Although appeared to be caught out by a stoppage during the final day, dewatered section due to storm damage? Unless that was scripted.
