This is image that has been reproduced on several occasions, it shows the Froghall Basin, Trent & Mersey Canal and the top lock gate Uttoxeter Canal. The waggons have brought down stone from Caldon Low quarries/

Must have been hard work moving the stone from waggons into the narrow boats
