Wow ...  that was a long time ago.

I was at the first recording of Blockbusters - It seemed to take about 4 hours to record the first one due to lots of technical issues they encountered with the board etc ... and Bob was very amusing trying to keep us entertained in between the technical breakdowns.

It was recorded at what is now the BBC studios in Borehamwood - sometimes called Elstree cos it sounds posher

Yes, I think its disgraceful that in the latest contract negotiations, CRT didnt insist on towpath rubbish collections by BIFFA from every boat, with compost and other recycling every 2nd week.
