Lancasgter canal advise please

Hi all,

We have recently sold our share in a syndicate NB, as we wanted a bit more flexibility on were and when we cruise.

We are now considering a trip on the Lancaster canal and wondered if anybody could recommend any hire boat companies located on that particluar canal?

Looking for a 2 berth..

Google lancaster canal boat hire, several on there.

 Google should find some, in the main they are small companies with just a few boats, I don’t think any of the big hire companies are represented on the Lancaster.

Hi yes, I have done some googling, but was looking for some recommendations from people who have actually used any of them...

Duck Island Boat Company have about two 2 berth boats. Luxury fitted and at reasonable rates, I'm not sure but I think a 2 berth is available only on a weeks hire. They are based at Garstang Marina.

Good standard of boat based on a very nice rural private mooring which you are free to use any time during your hire.
