Washing machine cards

Hi, were on the Macclesfield canal and have been to the cry facilities at top of the locks.  Can anyone advise where you get cards to use washing machine and dryer? Thanks

It looks like the nearest place to Macclesfield is the CRT Stoke on Trent office at Red Bull.  It's possible that boatyards also sell these but I don't know if they do or where

Thought this was about the old ‘Keymatic’ washing machines.

They were a washing machine in the fifties and they had a plastic ‘key’, depending which way you put the key in, the different wash programme you did.

Are C&RTs washing machine tokens common across the whole network ?
I know the pump out and electric charging systems are not.

Its all part of the North / South divide you know. Perhaps C&RT sorting out this stupid anomaly rather than duplicating blue signs would go down better with boaters.

I thought it might be about the Top Trump cards we used have as kids...  I must confess that Top Trump washing machines might be a little esoteric, but I do have a friend who restores Dyson washing machines, so you never know!

woo hoo Swilby cheers for that we been wondering. Thought it a standard CRT joke. you can only get a card if they post it to you, if y got an address then why would y need one. Alton abroad tomorrow. will try to trade for some more holes to put in their silencer.
