Cooker grill problem

Hi all,

I opened the grill this morning and was greeted with this issue.

I had a fiddle and couldn’t see how to reattach part, if it can be. Without this part the grill wouldn’t light.

Does anyone know what this bit is actually called and where I could get a replacement.

You could tiperarily wire it front and back with steel wire. It is a flame spreader, not available separately from the burner.

Have been told by this company that cooker is now obsolete and they no longer stock the parts.

Does anyone know somewhere else I could try or if the same part from a newer model could be fitted?
