Apologies for asking yet another onboard wifi question but our Huawei Mobile WiFi E5577C needs replacing after many years good service via Three, including a blog. Would you recommend the latest version or is there anything else out there? We would like to stay with Three. Thanks for any replies.

Firstly - why do you think it neds replacing?

Could it be a dead / dying battery - they don't last for ever and the electronics either work or not.

These devices are generic in that (unless locked by the supplier and AFAIK Three do not.

The problem at the moment is that prices on ebay are all over the place as there's a shortage of all sorts of equipment - forcing the price up.

Perhaps more information migh help to get the conversation going??

When I  called 3 and threatened to leave earlier this year they gave me unlimited internet for £15 and a new Huawei B535 router which will run off 12v with the correct lead. You will need to be firm and have the resolve to go to get a decent deal.

Smarty owned by and on the same network as 3 do reasonably good deals, unlimited is £20 no contract  if you have to leave😉

Will get you a free month if you do go that way
