Hi all,

I've just had my Thermo Top Evo serviced as it stopped working, The burner was blocked and full of a sandy substance does anyone know what this could be? and the cause? I've had the heater for three years from new, Im a liveaboard and use the heater  continusly in winter.

Can I ask

1 What does a service entail?

2 Can I do it myself?

3 if no to 2 then can I do a partial service myself ?

Edit to add

Partial answering my own question. I found this potentially useful link to a pdf.

I hadn't tried this yet so can't really comment at this  time on its accuracy.
