Remains of a boat at Hatton Locks

Lock 41, Sunk in the mouth of the old narrow lock.

Looks as if it may have been an ice breaker.

 

There are other boats in other locks.

As Ray says there are several. I remember many of them just being knees and stem/stern posts projecting above water level back in the 70s, so they have been there for some time. Given of the number of them both here and I think on the other side of the Avon valley I guess they were deliberately left there.

Almost every narrow lock on the stockton flight used to have bits in them

In the mid 1990s most had gone.

There also used to be two wooden day boats on the left above watford locks.

It's been there more than 14 days. Bet its not even got a license.

There will be pictures in our photo collection.

That is still in storage having been to australia and back and now in the pending heap.

 

I know there are photos from 1985 though. 
Might have a look in the log.
