Best Way To Lower Washing Machine Through Hatch

As the title suggests, can fit a full size washing machine the catch is it'll have to be lowered through the top/sliding hatch.

 

How would you go about it?

Put it in a tonne bag then you have 4 handles to get hold of.

 

4 bodies  on the roof, 2 inside should do it.

When I was faced with putting a Squirrel stove through a side hatch I found it best to place a work bench inside so that the stove could be placed onto this from the outside.  Just had to lift it off then.

When I needed to get the 100kg Whispergen into my boat I enlisted the help of two other bods, one of them built like a - well, yer know. In the end he told us all stop helping and get out of the way, and lifted it in by himself. i doubt a washing machine weighs much more than about 65 kg.

Just buy it from John Lewis and ask them to deliver...

 

When I lived in Reading the kitchen was down a very narrow staircase leading from the sitting room. I bought a washing machine from John Lewis, the delivery guys brought it through the front door, through the sitting room, out onto the flat roof over the kitchen, and lowered it on ropes, then in through the back door. Not sure whether they are as good now, but fifteen years ago they went the extra mile!
