My dad as a Bobby in the fifties drove one of those, unmarked in the Chorley and beyond area of Lancashire. I remember sitting in it one day when he was home for a cup of tea or something.

I got stopped for speeding by two policemen squeezed into one, a dark green one with a chrome bell on the front. It would have been around 1965 in Sidcup in Kent. They complimented me on my motorcycling riding but advised me to do it a little more slowly.  Those were the days.

Looks like  TC to me too. I dont think any other of the t series had that section between the bottom of the grill and the bumper but I'm open to correction.
