Crew from Manchester to Ripon

Good evening. I am looking to get from Manchester via the Rochdale all the way to Ripon. There is currently a stoppage just out of Manchester basin which apparently should be clear by Friday (10th Sep) / start of the weekend. There is also a stoppage just before Hebden bridge which CRT are suggesting should be sorted (assuming no further delays) by the 17th Sep, 

 

As such departing Manchester Saturday 10th Sep.

 

Anyone interested in coming on board for some or all of the journey please get in touch. I will cover all food and expenses as a minimum. 

 

Boat is a 57" with Gardner 2LW.

I would however be very interested in doing the 2nd half of the journey if I have any spare time from work....will PM you if I can escape.

Lovely journey. Find the Ripon motor boat club guide to Cruising guide to the North East Waterways, look  out for high fresh water through the Calder and Hebble and the Ouse through York. pick a neap tide to exit Selby. Nun Monkton is worth a visit The Alice Hawthorn Pub as is Newby Hall.
