Talking of proper engines had a look at a thundering lister last night pumping water out of the goulburn river, into an orchard.

Usual nice safe instal 5 gal ( 20 litre) can of diesel gravity feeding to lift pump.

No silencer lube oil everywhere.

Probably last serviced in 1961 when built and run every day , repairs consist of picking up what falls off and throwing in river.
