Security for generators

Hi all just out of interest how do you  keep your generators safe and stop them growing legs and walking off  I’m interested as I am on a forum to do with garages and people on there was asking  how to stop equipment  been nicked  like generators

As thick a chain and massive a padlock as you can get.

 

And something hefty to chain it to on the boat.

 

But then portable angle grinders are easy to get (I got mine from Lidl for £30).

Yes this is what they are saying  battery grinders are thieves best friend

Keep it underwater by the stern of your boat. No-one will nick it and it won't make a noise to hack off your neighbours. Win-win!

Anything painted pink and yellow is going to deter people.

I was content just to have it be a sunken generator - a submarine one suggests some kind of intent not to leave it on the bottom...

It does need to be able to surface for re-fueling
