Thetford cassettes. (I’m in the crap)

Does anyone know of a contact number for unusual spare parts?

I have broken the arm that the sealing disc sits on and I don’t really want to throw the whole cassette away. This is on my spare, spare C200 cassette so it is not currently a crisis.

Is that part of the unnumbered item bottom left in this diagram? If so, it doesn't appear on the parts list on the Thetford site. Mind you, you can certainly buy the yellow plastic bit that rotates on the top separately, so who knows?

Apparently this part is not available but they can sell me a cassette for £100.

I think these people underrate how cheap I am.

once this is bolted up the cassette will see me out. 😎

Some plastics like polythene and polypropylene are difficult/impossible to mend by gluing, but polystyrene can be mended by plating across the break with one or more layers of pieces of thick-ish polysytrene sheet (1mm or thicker) that is available from model shops,  preferably using a methylene chloride plastic welding solvent like Plasweld or the stuff used for plastic plumbing that dissolves the mating surfaces so they fuse together to form a single mass.

Thanks all. I bolted a couple of bits of aluminium over the plastic. Cassette now operable, I am going to spend the £100 I saved on a new outfit for the good lady wife apparently. FML. 🤨
