The words "very nice looking" and "wide beam" are not often used in the same sentence!

I think a clearer definition / description of the boat is required - there are '100s' of boats in the marina that are "wider" than narrowboats.

The Border Force boats are quite nice looking, "very military" but boat shaped, and certainly over 7 foot beam.

 

We were in there (Railway Dock) until a couple of years ago and we are a certainly a widebeam (23 foot beam)

 

 

 

Or is it this one ?

As you say there are lots of wide beam boats in Hull marina but what my mate described it was a steel wide beam boat that looked like a narrow beam  with a pram hood  and a cratch fitted

I wasn't questioning your taste in boats - I was questioning your taste in friends!

Mmmmmmm. Now you have me thinking  I’ve worked with him for about 20odd years and thought I new him well .

It just shows different tastes 

he likes  hotels  I like boats 👍👍👍👍😎
