David Mack
The words "very nice looking" and "wide beam" are not often used in the same sentence!

The Border Force boats are quite nice looking, "very military" but boat shaped, and certainly over 7 foot beam. We were in there (Railway Dock) until a couple of years ago and we are a certainly a widebeam (23 foot beam) Or is it this one ? As you say there are lots of wide beam boats in Hull marina but what my mate described it was a steel wide beam boat that looked like a narrow beam with a pram hood and a cratch fitted
