Hello

can I get a six month licence for my narrow boat ?

Google is your friend :

You will need insurance and a BSS and expect to pay more than 50% of a 12 months licence  amount, and, be careful when you buy - if you buy (say) on the 28th of the month it is backdated to the 1st if the month so you lose 4 weeks off your 6 months.

You will be required to move the boat off C&RTs waters at the end of the 6 month, or, renew the licence with another 6 or 12 month licence.

Long term boat licences

If you keep and use a boat on our canals and rivers, you’ll need a licence. You can buy your long-term licence at any time of the year. They start on the first day of the month and last for either three months, six months or 12 months.

Sorry -missed this.

All info here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/anglian-waterways-registration-charges

You wont get six month unless you arrive on the system after September and register then..

If you are out on land out of the water and put back in water first time after September would count to.
