Cat parking southern portal of hardware tunnel

So visitors want to come for the afternoon just as are booked to go through the tunnel.  No problem in theory ... leave car southern end and taxi back from red bull BUT (there is always a but) can't find any info on nearest parking to south portal.  Anybody got any helpful info.  TIA

Yes thought about Westport but given their record on time keeping thought the tunnel portal was best option. But thank you.. if neefs be will suggest that and tell them to meet us 30 mins earlier than need be!

When we had cats we always got a neighbour to pop in every day to feed them. I don't think they would have stayed "parked" at the southern portal for long before wandering off.

step 1  leave the getaway vehicle at red bull and then taxi south to the boat

 

step2  when through tunnel hey fffing presto the motor is there!!!

They do indeed but at the top of the road there is a barrier that is locked in place once they have finished their day's work. At least, that was the situation last summer when I cycled to the southern portal from Trentham
