This is us. The shell was built by Reeves in Napton in ‘06. They worked to our own design and did a nice job. She’s a bit unusual - twin prop electric propulsion, mainly because I like playing with that kind of thing.

Nice boat,

there is a lot of interest in electric boats on here, some pictures of the installation would be good.

So we sold the last boat and readied to come across and explore canals with you good folks.  Covid screwed that plan, so we bought another one over here.  Maybe someday we’ll get the narrowboat . . .

(To avoid any confusion, in the second photo, we’re not the big boat.)

I would stick with that boat and give the canals a miss.

That second photo is brilliant BTW.

That’s the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower returning from sea.  I would’ve told him to get the hell out of my way but there were patrol boats zooming around with mounted machine guns.  I got as close as I could though, because I figured all those people on the flight deck were lined up to get photos of us.

Well I hope they saluted you at least ...

You get plenty of sniping on the canals but very few machine gun or cannon armed patrol boats!

Not a photo but a drawing of my boat by one of my granddaughter's.

Given some of the detail, I think she might be a budding canal artist in the style of the late Alan Firth.

There again some portholes and much of the boats lengthseem to have been edited out...

I think the number starting 'D' is a clue that its not a frigate you were passing . . .
