Vulpes has been on the Birmingham level since last Thursday evening and is currently keeping a low profile until heading for the chosen start point on Thursday.

Bag packed, just need to find Vulpes now and not get held up in the pub.

Barney hasn't been on a boat for a long time.

He is looking forward to travelling on lots of different boats on his way to Withymoor Island on Saturday.

'Red Wharf' now on the Birmingham Level.

We've had a vision of 'Tatty Lucy' too.

Absolutely nowhere to moor in the centre of Birmingham… apart from outside a nightclub where we now seem to have moored up 😞

Update: according to our neighbours on the fudge boat, the nightclub isn’t open until Saturday 😀

We just squeezed into the last space opposite Red Wharf! Shopping done, water tank filled, all set for the morning!

No extra crew this year, so we'll just have to see how we go. Have trimmed our original route to account for lack of crew, so hopefully still get to Netherton before it's closed! Hopefully we've had all our bad luck and delays, and it will be a straightforward challenge for us🤣🤣🤣

Well welcome all to Birmingham and best of luck

As to those who wish to goo to Wassall

It is part of the challenge to steer through the duck weed and avoid the motor boikes on t towpath and look for parts where noo boat has rarely gone before- sort of an undiscovered country as James Tiberius might say.

I've got mega bath duck waiting to travel, but he's been stuck on dry land due to covid

Just passed many 70' spaces in Birmingham, plenty of room

Presume Red Wharf have moved off as they aren't opposite you now.

If you would like to let me know where they are it would be appreciated!

They are mostly visible from your boat. There’s not much moored Holliday St side of Broad St. We moored at Sheepcote St in a space that wasn’t even a challenge to get Vulpes in to. There’s also a 70’ space on the Oozells loop now.
