Have they turned it round then, that is the aluminium one that you have to cross to operate at Hayford?

No the bridge is exactly the same, however it was electrified a couple of years ago, and the control is on the towpath side.

Is it fixed, fixed, or have they just given it a bit of a looking at?

It is actually fixed. Took a few minutes to adjust a valve somewhere and Hey Presto! done.

Easy up easy down.

So it was an Hydraulic problem then? Nothing to do with friction or balance? Are you going to play with it all night?

Will you allow anyone else to use it or is it now"yours"?

On Friday a "Guest" reported a post from this topic and indignantly asked "How can this be tolerated?"

The answer is, that's the forum's business, not yours. Either join the forum and contribute your thoughts, or keep your snout out of other people's business. Any further reports from you will NOT be acted upon. so don't waste your and other people's time reporting them..

A post which was subsequently edited to remove unacceptable content.

I would add that this was done following a report by a member, as we generally do not act upon reports made by "Guests" who cower behind a veil of anonymity.
