Sorry to hear that. Malcolm built some very fine boats. I met him years ago in York and looked after his boat whilst he returned home for a hospital appointment. He was one of the nicest fellows you could meet. RIP Malcolm

I bought my first commercial boat (Apollo) from him in 1970 and he converted it into a simple passenger boat, now in the final stages of restoration/rebuild over a very long period.  Malcolm was always very helpful and knowledgeable without appearing in any way 'superior' and took a keen interest in my own efforts to build a successful business with passenger and freight boats etc.  He will be much missed.
