Stoppges on the Shroppie.

As per the title. Have looked at the CRT website re. the hole in the canal and other stoppages. We hope to make passage to Chester when we are permitted so after Easter. CRT say they are hopeful the canal will be open by then. Does anyone live/moor near there and have some first hand knowledge of what progress is being made ?

For access to Chester you will need to get passed the lock 10/11 breach which is not expected to be open until summer. See the stoppage notice at the link below, the summer date is mentioned in one of the older updates.

Thanks for that Peter, have read that before and missed the summer bit. Ah well, plan change then, will just be glad to be out to be honest.
