Do I need a separate Anglian Waters pass to go on the Nene?

You may find this site helpful. It is published by GOBA, but covers the licencing arrangements for the EA waterways and the  Middle Level.

Fotheringay has my favourite water point on the entire system.

The Nene is a fabulous waterway (and I am ashamed to say that we haven't been back there since the IWA National at St Ives) but as with all rivers it needs to be treated with great respect. Especially after heavy rain when there is a strong flow . . .

One hell of a workout too, never seen so many bends, will think twice before approaching Ringstead (heading upstream) after dark, through thick patches of mist too!
