That reminds me of a friend who had an MGB a few years back.. It had been rewired at some point. Whoever did the job must have had a spare drum of black wire. Any kind of electrical diagnosis was a nightmare.

As I commented on a similar thread a while back, Belfast was wired using the colour code "brown for electricity".

Some VW Beetles were wired exclusively in pink.  Lovely darling!

Many years ago my father and I took his model railway (six baseboards) to an exhibition - as we were packing up we heard a worker on the adjacent layout exclaim "I like Stuarts colour code, pink for 12 volt!"
