Inspired by comments on another thread: what is in your essential toolkit? What is the bare minimum that you would consider cruising with (or without)?

1) a 'female that is incapable of anything mechanical' ? or

2) a 'mechanically competent male' ?

3) a 'mechanically competent female' ?

All tool outfits should contain a big 'ammer and a GS screwdriver.  Everything else is optional, or specialist.

A selection of screwdrivers, mostly small.

A decent calor gas spanner.

Perhaps the good lady uses goats to pull her boat along when it breaks down? ?

 

I can't imagine how she uses the pins, lump hammer, screwdrivers and gas spanner to motivate the goats though. ??

A Swiss army knife and further tools as required for anything it can't do... and you're capable of. Its the last bit that stops you simply using someone else's list.

Well, I thought it was for getting boy scouts out of horses hooves, not stones, but I guess the Swiss army knife is nothing if it's not versatile!
