Re-cushioning a Captains Chair

I was wondering if anyone has experience of a company or individual who can fit new foam cushioning in our Captains Chairs? They are coming up for 10 years old and bought by the original owners of the boat. There doesn't seem to be a makers mark on the chairs as a starting point. The foam seems to be thin around the frame supports in the seat and is quite noticeable after a while when seated. The leather (or faux leather type?) covers are in good condition so aside from the seat padding they are in good nick. We are based on the T&M at Mercia currently.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Should not be hard to do it yourself if you want to.  I had one of our apart last year because the frame had broken.  I stripped it back to bare metal, welded the frame up and reassembled.  It was straight forward, and the seat pad is just a big piece of foam, which you should be able to easily get hold of.

I have never found these chairs to be worth repairing. They are not very well made, even the expensive ones and its cheaper to buy new than repair I have discovered.

Having worn out a pair of all leather pricy ones, we got a pair of £99 ones with stools in fake "leather" pvc from Lloyds Pharmacy of all places which have lasted 5 years and now look like they will do another year or so before we chuck them.

The expensive ones can be over £1000 apiece!
