New composting toilet!

I've just bought myself a brand new composting toilet while my Vacuflush is being serviced and out of action. £20 from Amazon. Bargain!

 

It's a bucket inside a cheap plastic toilet. Isn't that basically the same as a composting toilet? ? (ok minus a cheap extractor fan).

Blimey a bargain. Just think for about another 900 quid you could get one that said " Composting " on the side with a cheap 12 volt fan, a proper bog ?

To be honest, the grey plastic body of this £20 toilet is a better quality injection moulding than the Airhead composting toilet I paid 900 quid for a couple of years ago and returned for a refund.

I think you may have missed the joke. It's not really a composting toilet (but then neither are the vast majority of "composting toilets" sold as such because that's not how they're being used).

But the difference between a £800 compost toilet and your £20 Amazon bargain is that the former separates the wee from the poo, whereas both end up in the same bucket in yours.

But then the males amongst us could easily save £780 and pee into a separate container. Perhaps not so easy for the ladies.

The is a device, 'she-wee' I believe, so discrete no one admits to their deployment.

I think most of us realised this was a joke, of sorts.

I just hope they don't catch on.

At that price, they are pretty much disposable.
